#FindYourAdventure

Welcome to The Rucksack Club

Our club has 550 members who enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities including climbing, walking, mountaineering, biking and running.  With a membership spread across the UK  (from Cornwall to Sutherland) we are very much a national club.

The Club has an active Meets programme with meets most weekends throughout the UK or perhaps making the most of one of our three mountain huts which are located in central Snowdonia (Nant Peris), the southern Lakes (Duddon Valley) and Glencoe (overlooking Loch Linnhe).  There are also walking and climbing meets every Wednesday, frequently in the Peak District.  We also travel further afield with regular Alpine trips and a winter sun-rock meet firmly on the Meets calendar.

Friendship has always been at the heart of the club and our social events cater for all ages.  We very much welcome new members, whether experienced or relative newcomers to our core activities, so explore our website, get in touch and join us “getting out there”…   Why not become an Associate Member, which provides the benefit of BMC club membership as well as offering a chance to get to know us better?   Simply contact the join@rucksackclub.org.  More information about membership (including a downloadable form) is available on our website here.

The Club is an active participant in the BMC #FindYourAdventure initiative and we encourage you to find out more about the Club and its activities by browsing our website, alternatively, you can always contact us via our online form.
