Meets Calendar

The Rucksack Club is privileged to have one of the biggest and most varied programme of meets of any British mountaineering club. Our outdoor meets programme has over 50 meets (weekends or longer) throughout the year. We have a regular programme of Wednesday evening climbing – outdoor during the summer months and indoor during winter – and there is a very active Wednesday Walkers group. In the winter months we have a regular mid-week indoor lecture programme from both members and invited national and international speakers.

    Craigallan Winter Climbing

    Often early March heralds the start of the finest Scottish winter conditions; fat ice, bluebird weather and longer days. I proudly guarantee that at least one of these will apply! So take the opportunity to endure a six hour drive and come and get some epic winter climbing in, or whatever other activities float your boat. Everyone is welcome. I will cook a meal on the Saturday night . Please let me know if you plan to attend and any dietary requirements so I can plan accordingly.

    Please join me at High Moss for the weekend. The meet is aimed at but not exclusively for Associate Members but all are welcome.

    I will organise a walk and cycle from the hut but all activities will be catered for including climbing and running.

    A meal will be arranged for Saturday night accommodating vegetarian but please let me know of any other dietary requirements. Please let me know by Tuesday if you plan to attend.
